    While we all understand the funding gap for most investments, no where is this more relevant than in the consumer internet industry.  Bill Burnham, describes the impact of the combination of plunging start-up costs for internet companies, the increase in size of VC funds, and the perceived randomness of success for consumer internet companies, in creating a funding gap for consumer internet companies.  But don't despair, because these are the types of companies that many angel groups do...
