    One of the first important decisions that a company must make is what type of legal entity their company should use... and while we strongly believe that only you and your attorney can make that decision, I thought it might be helpful to share this article from the Angel Capital Association on legal structure from an angel's perspective.  But even after reading this article, I can't stress enough how important it is to have good legal counsel before you make this decision.

    FastCompany ran a fascinating article on why you should start a company in Philadelphia.  In the article, Blake Jennelle,founder of Philly Startup Leaders and a serial entrepreneur (Anthillz, TicketLeap), and blog author calls it a "self-help ethos." That sounds about right for a place known as the City of Brotherly Love.     How Much Do I Raise at Start-up?

    The to be or not to be question is do I take as much as I can get now, because who knows what tomorrow will look like, or do I take just a small amount now, hoping I can raise more money later at a higher valuation.  Here is one answer to the eternal question, how much money should I ask for at startup... by an entrepreneur turned VC.
