As many of you know, I am very passionate about helping women entrepreneurs. I do this through mentoring, through office hours, through walk-and-talks with women entrepreneurs at local universities. And I do this through AWE, the Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs.
I am also passionate about growing the region’s number of women angels. And Robin Hood is very focused on increasing the number of women investors in our group. Why? All the reasons why diversity matters. Better decision-making, better access to deals. And its an untapped resource to increase the pool of investors in Philadelphia overall.
That’s why I’m so excited that Robin Hood is sponsoring AWE’s upcoming event, So You Think You Want to be an Angel. So to all my female colleagues in the Philadelphia region, if you are interested in learning about angel investing, please come out for this event on November 7th at the Science Center.
